Hey Flylady, look at me!

That is my miraculously clean sink; Flylady insists I have my sink shining before going to bed.  For years, there was a dish-drainer to the left of the sink.  It was a permanent fixture.  No more!  The dishes are dried and the drainer is in the cabinet under the sink.  I'm so proud.  (This is no doubt boring to you folks in J-land, but hey... just look at it this way:  I'm living proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Nobody outside of the family will ever understand what a miracle this is!  And, by the way, I didn't make my bed this morning, and Kevin said "Have you not been reading flylady?"  That's all I need!

My kitchen sink is clean tonight too, thanks to you and the fly lady. My husband even fixed the leaky faucet when he found out what I was doing.  I got her book Sunday and have just started. I always wear Birkenstocks but I ordered a pair with straps on the back thinking the fly lady would approve. Tennis shoes hurt my feet.  Without the fly ladys help I did start to declutter my house last fall. You wouldn't believe how much stuff I could give away. I still have things to take care of though... I hope this old dog can learn new tricks and make them a habit. Its nice to have a clean house. :)

Wish my sink looked that shiny. John has dropped Metimucil in it so much I scrubbed it with a brush before my company came, but it still isn't shiny. Paula

Oh, the sink is the first thing that I start on when beginning my Saturday routine.  And do you have knotted pine cabinets? Looks like it.  I do too.  Our cabinets look the same, with the black hinges.

But where is the waffle iron?  Did you ever find one?   :)

You got in the"zone" alright. Isn't this why we love to blog? Where else could you put a picture of the kitchen sink, and get "serious" comments about it? rich
